Defining yourself as a writer
By Rachel Ann Nunes
Before you begin writing, it is VERY important that you ask yourself these
important questions. You need to understand why you are writingand
that's certainly NOT for the money. You don't always choose to be a writer;
sometimes you're born to be a writer and it's as simple as that. But you
need to know yourself before you write, or at least partly. By
acknowledging your desire to write, and letting other people know that you
are a writer, you actually become one. And thus the journey begins . . .
Are you a writer?
How do you see yourself?
Do you tell others you are a writer?
What are your goals?
Is writing really part of who you are?
Do you want it to be?
Who are you without your writing?
Why do you write?
Believe . . . say it to yourself . . . I AM A WRITER!
My Motto:
The Gospel is like breathing;
Writing is like eating.
To live I must write.
Remember that writers write!
What I will do to let myself and others know that I am a writer:
